PhD of Environmental Health Engineering

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Environmental Health Engineering (EHE) provides students with interdisciplinary training to better understand the impact of the environment on human health and disease. Students will receive comprehensive and advanced training in the core areas of epidemiological and community-based research methods, statistical analysis, risk assessment, biological mechanisms of susceptibility and disease, environmental modeling, and toxicology. Graduates of this program will apply theory and methods to public health research, evaluation, analysis, and decision-making. Furthermore, the program aims to produce a unique scientists of future leaders in the field of environmental health sciences who have expertise in both laboratory- and population-based research. We warmly welcome international students to join our programs.
